Basara Educational and Welfare Society is involved in various community Welfare activities like vocational, educational and awareness programmes funded by various departments for the welfare and upliftment of the public in the poor locality of Bihar.
The society wish to empower women in Education, Social Welfare, Self-Employment and other development at their doorstep. The Society also wish to provide better facility to all the population of the rural population especially to the women and children and also to provide Medicines, Surgery, Orthopaedics, Gynaecology, ENT and Eye specialists supported with Pathological Tests and Radiological diagnostic facilities. We requested the worthy people, public departments and all government agencies to help us in our mission.
At Basara Educational and Welfare Society we organize workers to achieve their goals of full employment and self-reliance through the strategy of struggle and development. The struggle is against the many constraints and limitations imposed on them by society and the economy, while development activities strengthen women’s bargaining power and offer them new alternatives. Practically, the strategy is carried out through the joint action of union, collective social enterprises and cooperatives.
Full employment means work that provides economic security, food security, and social security.
Self-reliance aims to support women towards being autonomous and self-reliant both economically and in terms of their decision-making ability. Self-reliance is the basis of sustainability that is essential on an individual basis and also for Basara Educational and Welfare Society’s women’s collectives, organizations, and cooperatives.

Inspired by Mother Teresa philosophy, a group of doctors came together in 2021 to set up Basara educational and Welfare society. The society is to work with grassroots initiatives for effecting positive changes in the lives of underprivileged children, their families and communities.

Our Objectives
1. To open a College for Poor people who sacrificed their dreams just because of lack of money.
2. To promote education, awareness, skills and IT through establish the educational institutions, centers, hostels and vocational trainings.
3. To empower the women reject and counter violence within the home and in Society through education, self-help, cooperative, Network and to access rights.
4. To reduce poverty by improving economic status of individuals through income Generation activities.
5. To empower youth and adolescents by providing vocational/skill development trainings for sustainable livelihoods and employment.
6. To rehabilitate child labour and empower the children on their rights.
7. To improve health status of communities through Medical Camps, health education and awareness, for under privileged population in remote villages.
8. To eradicate illiteracy.
